Wiesław Kołodziejski
Wiesław joined the Torus team at the beginning of 2019. Assuming the position of department director, he took on responsibility for the property management area, as well as administrative aspects of the company.
He manages a team of a dozen or so people which is held accountable for managing Torus-owned property, and also the property that is owned by other entities. The team takes care of the adequate financial economics of the entrusted properties, ongoing administrative process, keeping building and accounting documentation, and continuous working efficiency of the given property. Thus, the property manager is tasked with taking decisions which will make the property economics more rational.
The property management team supervises the facility technical maintenance, including the correct operations of respective systems, e.g. power supply, access control, BMS (management of building), burglary and assault detection system, air-condition, ventilation, and others. It also conducts all mandatory inspections resulting from the law and building regulations, and keeps ongoing contact with the facility lessees by means of the Singu platform. Wiesław’s department swiftly resolves all problems which arise in particular buildings or specific spaces.
Moreover, Wiesław and his team are jointly responsible for the administrative aspects of the company, changes in fitout, or additional works in the leased areas. Moreover, as an operator, the team oversees a parking system of one of the Torus-erected office compounds. The team is also highly involved in the extension and optimisation of Intensa – a modern IT solution supporting effective company management.
As the members of the team excellently know the needs of the end user, throughout the realization of new investments, they also participate in the selection process of dedicated systems, e.g. access or parking control. Subsequently, at the operational level, it results in quality, functionality, and comfort.
Wiesław boasts vast professional experience which yields fruit at Torus. He has worked in multiple companies, having been involved in logistics almost all his life. He spent nearly a decade abroad, while also running his own company which introduced low-current systems. For nine years, he worked in Chemia – Torus’ daughter company, holding a position of board chairman.
He is a graduate of Gdańsk University of Technology (Faculty of Management and Economics, major: Management of production systems). He has also completed post-graduate studies in logistics at Wyższa Szkoła Logistyki in Poznań.
Privately, he is a keen martial artist (aikido and krav maga), and likes mountain-climbing. He is a seasoned campaigner – frequently starting in gruelling military outdoor races.
