Upon completing respective construction works, a traditional topping-out wreath was hung over PUNKT, an office building that is being erected in the Gdańsk district of Wrzeszcz. A cosy, well-located, and elegant building will encompass close to thirteen thousand square metres of leasable area, and will seamlessly blend into the commercial surrounding of the investment site. The construction process is to be completed in the first quarter of 2024. It is yet another investment, alongside Officyna, carried out by Torus in this part of the city.
- We have wrapped up the works related to the construction of the building, and since mid-July we have been putting up its façade, which we shall complete in March next year. Simultaneously, the roofs are being insulated, and installation shafts reinforced – says Mikołaj Filipiak, project manager in Torus.
The construction of the building was performed by Marex from Mława. Façade assembly is being conducted by Eljako-Al, with Emar, a company from Kartuzy, responsible for the insulation of roofs. The building blueprint was designed by APA Wojciechowski Trójmiasto architectural office.
Torus office standard
PUNKT is a cosy office building, with six overground, and one underground storey, respectively, of a total leasable area of 12,781 sqm (GLA). The building will be erected with the use of human-friendly construction materials, will be certificated in the LEED v4 system, and will fulfil rigorous environmental standards related to energy-saving or low consumption of potable water, which shall result in lower maintenance costs. PUNKT will be a certificated facility ‘without barriers’ (‘Obiekt bez Barier’), providing disabled people with unobstructed movement within.
PUNKT is being erected in the high Torus standard based on numerous technological innovations, with air handling unit system chief amongst them. The innovation will prevent pathogens, such as bacteria or viruses, from spreading. The building will also be distinguished by: 3-metre height of office rooms, tilted windows, system of individual temperature control, in-building electronic application featuring multiple practical functions (facilitating access to the building, among others), and by the comprehensive infrastructure dedicated to cyclists. Additionally, a terrace has been designed on the fourth storey, envisaged as the employee relaxation and rest area. The investment shall offer 283 parking spots, including eighty-three underground parking places, which will constitute another convenience for the tenants.
Office on POINT PUNKT is superbly-located
PUNKT has a superb location – next door to the popular shopping malls (Bałtycka and Metropolia), and is served well by the public transportation – near the PKP/SKM/PKM railway station Gdańsk Wrzeszcz, in close vicinity of multiple bus and tram stops. Reaching Gdańsk Główny downtown takes just a few minutes, with only fifteen minutes necessary to get to Sopot or the Lech Walesa airport.
A cosy office building situated in such a diverse surrounding will make a wonderful place of work and business development. It will complement and widen what the city offers within services and commerce in this very location. The PUNKT office building also continues the expansion of the central business district – a strip of commercial services that has been shaping up over the past years between the districts of Wrzeszcz and Oliwa, along the main thoroughfare of the Tricity.
