Iwona Stemska

Real Estate Director

Iwona has been involved in the real estate market since the beginning of her professional career, i.e. over 25 years. She joined Torus in 2005, when the company had only a few employees. Initially, she was responsible for the creation and development of the real estate department, and as the company grew and scaled up, her role evolved. Currently, she is responsible for negotiating and concluding lease and sale agreements for facilities belonging to the Torus portfolio and participates in real estate due diligence processes. She played an important role in key transactions, including m.in the signing of a lease agreement with the global leader in the financial services sector for 17,000 sq m. and has participated in real estate sales transactions with a total value exceeding EUR 370 million.

He works closely with various departments, in particular commercialization and legal departments. Today, as a real estate director, he leads the work of a team of several people. Since 2020, he has also been the management board’s representative for hotels – he supervises, m.in of hotel lease agreements, and on the owner’s side, he coordinates works related to the renovation of facilities.

Iwona is a graduate of the Faculty of Management at the University of Gdańsk (major: business economics). He has a professional license in the field of real estate brokerage and property management, as well as the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) title, valued on the commercial real estate market.

The real estate market has always interested me. I am glad that I can practice a profession in line with my qualifications and interests. Contracts may be associated with something monotonous and repetitive, but this is not the case. In the case of companies with such a business profile as ours, the quality of contracts is extremely important – when selling buildings, we actually sell the proceeds from lease agreements and in fact they generate the value of the property. We work with large entities, including international funds, so I am constantly facing new challenges. It is an interesting experience that allows you to constantly develop. I also have a great, committed team that I can always rely on.
