Symfonia decided to merge its Tricity offices, and move them to one joint address. The company leased close to 500 metres of office space in Format, an office building located in Gdańsk, developed by Torus. Throughout the transaction, the company was advised by Savills.
Symfonia is a company which develops technologies and software dedicated to the management of business processes. Original solutions carried out by the company are aimed at small- and medium-sized companies, as well as large corporations. What sets them apart on the market is their scalability and adaptability to the growth and development of their client’s business.
- At Symfonia, we work in a hybrid manner, because we appreciate the upsides resulting from the workplace flexibility. At the same time, we are very much after integration of the teams, and their joint work in one location – says Wiktoria Kuc, HR Director, Symfonia.
Across Poland, Symfonia has their offices located in Warsaw, Wrocław, and the Tricity. Throughout the lease transaction of their new office in Gdańsk, the lessee was represented by Savills, a British real estate services company.
- We are glad we could support Symfonia during the reorganizational process. In the new Tricity-based company subsidiary, more than eighty employees will be able to enjoy a modern office, superbly served by public transport, adapted to the hybrid model of work. The key strength of Format office building was its location in the business centre of Gdańsk. Close vicinity of the municipal railway station will provide employees with a comfortable and quick commute to work from Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia, as well as nearby towns – says Piotr Skuza, Office Space Director at Savills Gdańsk.
For Torus, it is yet another lease agreement of office space in Format, signed within a short time framework.
Office building with multifunctional sports ground
Format is located in the business part of Gdańsk, at the border of Oliwa and Przymorze. The building has five overground storeys, with its total leasable area amounting to nearly 16,000 square metres. It is superbly served by public transport – situated in close vicinity of the PKP/SKM Oliwa train station, offering a comfortable and quick commute to work for the residents of Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia, as well as nearby towns. The railway station also services long-haul trains, which constitutes a great convenience when travelling on business or arranging business meetings. The building boasts a significant number of car parking spots – 396 in total, as well as the extensive cycling infrastructure (outdoor parking spots, dedicated indoor parking zones, alongside changing rooms with shower facilities and lockers). On May 27, an outdoor open-to-public sports zone was opened, located close to Format, with a multifunctional sports ground dedicated to volleyball, basketball, handball, and football, along with a gym and ping-pong table. The facility will champion integration and open-air activity both among respective employees, and local residents alike. In the future, Torus also intends to build a footbridge that will connect the Format area with the SKM train station, which will enhance comfort of using commuter train services for the entire neighbourhood.
Format office building is certificated in the LEED system, within which it achieved the highest level of platinum. Moreover, as a Facility without Barriers (Obiekt bez Barier), it is fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The solid of the building was designed by the Tricity subsidiary of APA Wojciechowski Architekci architectural office.
