They are active, joyful, inspiring, and boost health – cheering it’s all you need to do! And that’s what we do. Yet another time, with pleasure and satisfaction, we partnered WINTER HOLIDAYS WITH WYBRZEŻE. Children from 4-8 grades spent with Energa Wybrzeże Gdańsk handball players the last three days of January in a sports mode. We have been supporting the team for seven years now.
Each year, winter holiday activities are held in the sports and recreational zone (Sportstacja) in the Alchemia compound. We created this space with such activities in mind, and as one can see – it is fantastically serving its purpose. Children were regularly training under professional and motivational supervision of the handball players. Young enthusiasts of sport also checked their skills in a handball-knowledge competition. The agenda also covered an element of entertainment and culture in the form of a joint outing at the Helios cinema.
Three days of sports challenges were capped off by a professional tournament held on the AWFiS hall court, with the club’s players taking on the roles of trainers and referees.
In the end, we handed everybody a gift with a motto – workobackpacks, which were made from our old flags in cooperation with Zeroban. It is a beautiful and functional example of upcycling, which we hold dearly in our hearts.
We consider this year’s winter holidays a success! We are glad we could be part of it. 🙂
