GetResponse, a global leader in online marketing software, has moved into its new office in Neon building in Gdańsk. The office covers nearly three thousand square metres, and is located on the ninth floor of the building which was developed by Torus.
GetResponse is a Polish company, a producer of the world-renowned software, used for email marketing and marketing campaign management, dedicated to both small and large companies. The beginnings of the company date twenty-five years back. The simplicity of use of particular functionalities, and the possibility of their effective application, regardless of the industry, enabled GetResponse to become an important player on the global market.
The company’s new office is located on the ninth floor of the building situated in a Gdańsk district of Oliwa. It stands out with the top quality fit-out design, arranged with the involvement of GetResponse employees who shared their needs, expectations, and opinions, during each stage of the office preparatory works.
The intention behind the emergence of the new office was to provide the employees with the space which integrates, inspires, and boosts cooperation. The diversity of spaces (focus rooms, group work spaces, relaxation and play rooms) allows for the selection of a proper space depending on the individual needs and work mode. The office, somewhat a centre of the GetResponse galaxy, supports various work models, providing solutions that integrate employees.
– From the moment you step through the main door, the office amazes you with the layout and aesthetics, exuding the sense of extensive space at the same time. The design is well-thought-through and cohesive, with the final effect reassuring us we made a good decision choosing Torus. In each stage, from design to commissioning, the cooperation was impeccable. We are truly satisfied with our new head office, and we are certain our employees will feel there right at home - says Hanna Stopa, Finance Director in GetResponse.
The office preparatory works were intense and demanding. From the get-go, it was a joint intention of GetResponse and Torus to make the office space exceptionally modern and employee-friendly. Apart from the standard, open working zones, office rooms, conference rooms, or canteens, one will also find in the new office areas dedicated to networking, meeting spots for smaller and larger teams, focus rooms, along with relaxation spaces, a play and nap room, or even a yoga chamber. The architectural concept was drawn up by Workplace, with Torus delivering technical and branch blueprints, overseeing the complete process of realization as well. GetResponse, in terms of the fitout management and technical and cost supervision, was supported by Ilnedro.
- The project was ambitious and demanding. Multiple solutions arose, including those less commonplace, with numerous items and materials chosen, such as wooden ceilings or walls made of glass joists. With collective effort, though, we have managed to achieve success. The final fitout makes quite an impression. Basically, it all came down to the exceptionally smooth mutual communication, and a great dose of professionalism of all parties that partook in the process. I am proud of the quality of work which was done by the whole team of Torus to complete the fitout. I am positive that the office will live up to all expectations - says Maciej Suchanowski, project manager in Torus.
Neon office building houses more than thirty-five thousand square metres of leasable area (with each typical office storey covering above three thousand square metres of space, respectively). The space of slightly over fifteen hundred square metres is occupied by commercial premises located on the ground floor, which supplement the passageway – an area dedicated for meetings and hanging out, designed between the Alchemia buildings. As was also the case with earlier stages of the compound, Neon received the LEED certificate on the highest level – Platinum, and it also boasts the BREEAM In-Use certificate, on the Excellent level. The building, architecturally and functionally, tops off Alchemia, which was designed entirely by APA Wojciechowski Architekci.

Torus is one of the leaders among Polish office developers, although the company’s portfolio is far broader – it is made up of hotel investments, including revitalizations, warehouses, and residential housing as well. Up to now, Torus has delivered more than 180,000 sqm of leasable space onto the Tricity market, and has concluded seven sales transactions of its office property to six various funds (five buildings in Arkońska Business Park and four stages of Alchemia) for the combined fee of nearly 370 million Euro.
