Diverse CG is an experienced provider of services and competences in the IT field. The company has its head office in Warsaw, however, over the last five years it has been dynamically developing in the Tricity as well. Recently, it has moved its regional office to a new, cosy office building – Officyna, erected by Torus, and leased close to four hundred square metres of space. The transaction was assisted by JLL, a consulting leader on the real estate market in Poland.
Diverse CG (DCG) is a company which has been supporting its clients providing them with IT services and competences for fifteen years. Over the last five years, the company has also been dynamically developing in the Tricity. On a daily basis, DCG employees recruit experts from within the IT area, and also within the fields of outsourcing, team leasing, and headhunting.
- Five years ago, we began writing the history of the Gdańsk-based subsidiary from two people, and the high hopes for development. Today, we form a group of more than twenty people, and we are far from the finish line with regard to further development. We have chosen Officyna as we were on the lookout for a slightly larger office located in a place that is well served by transport. We were enchanted by the vibes of Wrzeszcz tenement houses, and the boutique nature of the investment itself. While searching for the location, we involved our employees in the selection process, and they unanimously picked out Officyna, charmed by the home-like ambience of the place – says Małgorzata Hoppe, Branch Manager in Diverse CG.
As a manager, he appreciates open communication, which in his opinion, facilitates cooperation and business development. He is eager to surround himself with people who boast greater specialist and expert knowledge in a particular domain, knowing how to tap into their experience. He likes to have a sense of influence, and take on responsibility, both in the designing dimension, as well as strategic. However, he draws the greatest satisfaction observing development and successes of his employees, and the fact he can contribute to it. He is inspired by success stories of other people – he takes a good look at them while searching for good practices which he could apply himself in the management area.
The new DCG office will accommodate nearly thirty people responsible for recruiting IT specialists, and sales. The fitout was arranged to guarantee comfort and employee well-being, thus, the office boasts electrically-controlled desks, cosy soft couches, and multiple places for silent work, furnished with comfortable armchairs. The company has also formed a special-purpose group, responsible for the purchase of plants which are to add enjoyment to the office work.
- We are glad to see another lessee appreciate Officyna’s strengths with regard to its location, quality, and cosiness. The transaction generates an additional value as Diverse CG perfectly know our ‘Torus standard’ having leased space in another Torus-erected office building. I am certain the new office in Officyna will boost the company’s further development in the Tricity – says Marcin Piątkowski, Leasing Director in Torus.
The lessee was supported throughout the transaction process by a consulting company – JLL.
- Officyna is a unique location which, besides office conveniences, stands out with its charm and ever-present vibes. We knew it would make a suitable new office for Diverse CG, because it meets all expectations of our client, which expressed particular needs as an IT company. We are pleased we could assist in the negotiations. It offered us an opportunity to look into a particular mode of work and office selection, the process which engaged all employees of the company – says Aleksandra Staniszewska, JLL.
Officyna was erected in two stages, with its total leasable area amounting to 12,300 square metres. The building, which constitutes the second stage of Officyna, and which will house the new office of DCG, is located at the further end of the plot, and is linked with the first stage of the investment by a direct passageway. The main entrance to Officyna is located along Grunwaldzka Avenue (through the first stage), with additional entrance to be found on the junction section’s side; the entry gate to drive onto Officyna’s area is located from the side of Wassowskiego Street.
The investment is situated in a location that is well served by the city public transport, right along the main thoroughfare, in the close vicinity of bus and tram stops, and a PKP/SKM/PKM train station alike. Torus has also taken care of the cyclist infrastructure, with the building housing respective sanitary facilities in the form of changing rooms, lockers, and showers. The parking spots for bicycles are located both in the garage hall, and outdoors as well.
What sets the building apart is the IV-floor terrace – a comfortable place where employees can relax and unwind. The building has a cosy nature, and constitutes an interesting offer especially for small and medium size companies that have found the high-quality office space more accessible in this very part of the town. The investment is surrounded by multiple service, food, and commercial outlets, which will facilitate employees, and allow them to meet their everyday needs.
Officyna was designed by APA Wojciechowski Trójmiasto architectural office. Both buildings are certificated in the LEED system, on the highest level of platinum. It means that the buildings fulfil high ecological norms, are energy-saving, and made of human-friendly construction materials.
